The Project

Samuel Ryder Academy required a robust and flexible AV system for their Sports Hall, capable of supporting a wide range of activities including PE lessons, school assemblies, examinations, sports events, and community lettings. Heritage AV were commissioned to design and install a system that would provide clear audio coverage, bright, reliable video projection, and simple user control suitable for staff and non-technical users.
The result is a modern, durable, education-focused AV system that enhances the day-to-day functionality of the school’s large multipurpose space.

Challenges

• The Sports Hall is a large, open, and highly reverberant space, requiring careful speaker selection and placement to maintain speech clarity
• All equipment needed to be durable, secure, and protected for use in a busy school environment

Solution

Heritage AV supplied and installed a complete sports-hall AV package, tailored to the school’s operational needs and acoustic environment. High-power projection ensures clear visibility for assemblies, sports analysis, and examinations, while the installed loudspeakers deliver speech intelligibility across the entire hall.
A simplified user control panel enables staff to manage the system effortlessly without requiring technical support. All equipment was mounted securely with protective hardware suitable for high-impact environments, ensuring longevity and reliability.
